Frequently asked
Questions families ask us.
Honest answers to the things families wonder about most. If yours isn't here, just call. Diana picks up the phone.
Section 01
About our service
-
Is this really free for my family?
Yes. Completely. Anew is paid by the care community we place your loved one in, only after a placement is made. Families never pay us for the search, the tours, the advocacy, or the move. There are no hidden fees and no upsells.
-
What areas do you serve?
We work with families throughout Fresno and the broader Central Valley, including Clovis, Madera, Visalia, Tulare, Hanford, and the surrounding communities. If you're not sure whether we cover your area, give us a call and we'll let you know honestly.
-
What does Anew actually do?
We listen, we research, and we guide. Diana learns what your loved one needs, hand-picks care communities that match, attends tours alongside you, and advocates on your behalf. The day your loved one settles in is the day our work is complete.
Section 02
The process
-
How does Diana choose which homes to recommend?
Diana personally visits the homes she recommends. She matches your loved one based on their care needs, budget, location, personality, and what makes them feel most at home. If she wouldn't trust the home with her own mother, she won't send your mother there either.
-
How long does the process usually take?
It depends. Some families move forward within a week; others take a month to feel ready. We move at your pace. There is no pressure from us to decide quickly.
-
What if my loved one needs to move quickly?
Call us. Diana has worked through urgent hospital discharges and sudden caregiver gaps many times. With her local relationships, she can often arrange tours and decisions within days when time matters most.
-
What information do you need from us to start?
Just a brief conversation. Diana will ask about your loved one's health, daily routine, finances, preferred area, and the small things that bring them comfort. From there, she takes the next steps.
Section 03
What we do (and don't do)
-
Do you help with paperwork or financial planning?
We guide you through the questions to ask and the documents to gather, but we are not financial advisors, attorneys, or accountants. For complex financial, legal, or medical decisions, we'll point you toward trusted local professionals.
-
Do you work with hospice or in-home care?
Yes. Diana built her career in hospice and has long-standing relationships with hospice providers and in-home care agencies across the Central Valley. We can guide you to the right option whether your loved one is staying home or moving into a community.
Still wondering?
Pick up the phone. Diana will answer.
There are no scripts, no gatekeepers, and no obligation. Just a real conversation.
